Telephone & email support

No Panic

  • Telephone support:  up to 6 free hours.  After this you can participate in a telephone recovery group which runs as a facilitated ‘telephone conference’.  You need to join the organisation, membership is £12.

    Anxiety UK

  • The largest UK charity for anxiety.  Have a great website with information on all anxiety issues, recommended books etc. Other services include
  • CBT over the telephone. You need to become a member of Anxiety UK £21 per year, there is a £5 referral fee and then you pay £5-£35 per session.
  • Email support service.
  • Live chat service via the website

Anxiety Alliance

  • Run by former anxiety sufferers.  Offer fact sheets, self-help booklets, relaxation audio tapes and CD’s, books and telephone and on-line self-help groups.

  • You can also receive advice and support by email.

  • National charity running local groups facilitated by trained volunteers, nearest group is in Bristol. Structured self-exposure programme. There is a small fee to join the group.
